Positive and alternative pedagogy in kindergarten at Montessori Neuilly-sur-Seine

"Teach me to do it alone

Our educational project is structured around and for the child. It is based on the Montessorians' active and experimental pedagogy, founded on respect for the child and free choice of learning.

Observation is an integral part of the educator's guiding work. It allows them to offer your child activities that nurture their development and help them to progress in the different aspects of their learning: practical life, sensory, mathematics, language, science, geography, music and art.

Offering Montessori education to families in Neuilly-sur-Seine

We are convinced that Montessori education is an asset in your child's life and complements the education you provide.

During the day, we take over your education: like you, we observe your child, like you, we respect his individuality to guide him and help him grow.

We bring you - and we bring him - our pedagogical expertise to develop his full potential. We provide them with materials specially designed to teach them to do things for themselves.

3-6 years: your child builds a frame of reference

Up to the age of 6, your child is structuring himself and building his frame of reference, a frame on which he will rely throughout his life. Before the age of 6, everything is easily acquired, your child's brain is modelling itself and habits are anchored for life, both those you want and those you hope for less. After this age, they will all be difficult to change.

Proposed in the form of activities, your child will naturally assimilate the rules of knowing how to be, how to live and how to live together. Repeated on a daily basis, they will help them to build and structure themselves, as routines are the very foundation of Montessori learning between the ages of 3 and 6.

Individualised monitoring of your child

The educators observe your child, see his or her potential for development, concentration and kindness. With these eyes, your child develops at his or her own pace and gains self-confidence on the path specially prepared for them.

The role of the educators is to give your child the opportunity to investigate and work with Montessori materials. In this way, your child can learn about different subjects and concepts with different and attractive teaching aids. Each of them helps toidentify errors and to self-correct. Mistakes in Montessori education are a source of improvement and development.

Theeducation given to your child is thus personalised, realistic, positive and self-correcting; it is based on observation, freedom, love and respect; it allows him/her to develop all his/her potential while blossoming.
